Can you use more than one coupon on the same item? Believe it or not, YOU CAN. It will just take a small amount of research. How much research? Either one telephone call or a stop by the customer service desk at the store of your choice. Let's start out by explaining that basically, there are two types of coupons - manufacturer's (the ones usually printed in the Sunday paper) and there are store coupons (the ones usually printed in an insert for a particular store such as CVS or Walgreens, etc.). Some stores allow you to use their store coupons and manufacturer's coupons on the same item. For example, in the Sunday newspaper you find a manufacturer's coupon for Resolve Carpet Cleaner. This coupon is for $1.00 off of 1. As you go through the inserts you find that your local Walgreens has their own store coupon for $2.00 off of Resolve Carpet Cleaner. The regular price for this particular item is $3.99. Here is the breakdown: $3.99 - original price - $1.00 - manufacturer's coupon - $2.00 - store coupon .99 - YOUR FINAL PRICE That is an AMAZING deal! Now, how do you find out if your store allows you to use two coupons for the same product? ASK. Either call and speak to the manager or stop by the customer service desk inside the store. If there are several of these store (usually chain stores) within several miles of each other, you need to call or stop by each one. Sometimes the same chain store is within 10 miles of another one and each of them have a different policy. Most of the stores out there do not publically publish their coupon policies. This, I am sure, is one of the many reasons why. Thank you for your time in reading. Have a frugal day!
