My children just love to eat chicken every single day. Which I don't mind for the most part, but it's coming up wtith something new everday that they will like to eat. So, I decided to ask for any help on this one. Does anyone know any good recipes for children that envolve chicken? I like to feed them things that they will eat so that I don't waste a whole bunch of food. Not saying that it doesn't happen anyway, but with the attempt to not waste any. Do you know a good recipe for my children?

Fish doesn't have diseases so far that are transmitted to humans - besides poisons such as mercury but that's quite little. Chicken can infect you with the bird flu. I believe that fish is better. Scientifically and by taste. The problem is, chicken is more plentiful and cheaper because it is easier to grow and raise - whereas - it would be quite harder to farm fish - and mostly fisherman have to catch fish from the sea - you rarely get farmed fish sold in supermarkets. Fish is healthier for you because of omega 3 - this is good for your brain especially.

Do you children enjoy mexican dishes? I love cassaroles becuase they are easy, one dish meals. Serve with a salad and you have a healthy dinner that is not too labor intensive. How about this recipe?
MEXICAN CHICKEN CASSEROLE
1 chicken, cooked and cut in pieces (or 1 lb. ground beef)
1 med. pkg. tortilla chips
1/4 c. onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
Chili powder to taste (1 tsp.)
Garlic powder to taste (1/2 tsp.)
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can Old El Paso tomatoes and green chilies (10 oz.)
1 sm. pkg. Cheddar cheese
In 9x13 pan place tortilla chips. Place meat over chips. Mix soups, can of tomatoes with green chilies, with chili powder, garlic, onion, and green peppers and pour over meat. Grate Cheddar cheese and sprinkle on top.
Bake at 350 degree for 1 hour. Can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.

I have a very simple, but tasty chicken recipe, everyone loves this:
1/2 cup of ketchup
1/2 cup of soy sauce
Mix the two ingridents and pour over chicken (any kind, if you need more sauce make a second batch for larger pieces of chicken). Bake on 375 degrees for 45 minutes until crisy brown, turning twice. Best to use aluminum foil in the pan since it makes it difficult to get this off of ordinary pans (easier cleanup)
