I am a first time mom at the same time a working mom too.I have a 7 months old daughter. I was thinking of the best way to take care of my child and free her from diseases such as UTI.I heard that UTI is not prevalent to adults only but as well to babies especially to the girls. What causes UTI among babies? How can I prevent it? If symptoms persist

my daughter is 4 and she had one not to long ago. the only symptom i knew was she would cry when she peed and said it burned. i took her to the doctor right away. there are home "remedies" for uti which i've tried on myself but they don't always work, and if you wait to long the infection can spread to your kidneys. they put her on medicine and she got better. the main cause is bubble bath. we had just bought her some new bubble bath and used it right before she got the infection. mostly uti's are caused from dirt and other things getting up into the girls private area. so we stopped using bubble bath and we make her pee after she gets a bath to flush anything out that might have gotten in there.
