Giving a breast fed baby a bottle

I have breast fed my last two children and am now breastfeeding my infant son as well. For my last two, they absolutely refused to take a bottle or pacifier making it hard for anyone to babysit them. For this baby I would like to get him to at least try a bottle so that I am able to leave him occassionally with a sitter, but he also is refusing to take one. The doctor just tells me to keep trying, but the fact is no matter how ofter I try he just won't hear it. Any ideas on how to get a breast fed baby to take a bottle? If he does take a bottle will he still take the breast?
