Now a days there's so many fastfood chain all over the world like jollibee,mc donald,KFC etc. Do you think it is more affordable than eating in real restaurant? Is the food more healthful or not?

It's about the same price as eating in a real restaurant. Most fastfood foods are fatty and can make you fat. They are delicious though and easy to get that's why a lot of people eat there. If you are not in a hurry you can eat in a real restaurant most of the food also are delicious but also fatty. The best way to eat healthy and nutritious food is at home.

Yes, fast food is certainly on every street corner and is very convenient and CHEAP! It is very cheap, much cheaper than a real restaurant simply because of the dollar menu that most fast food places have here in the US. We can feed our family of 5, two adults and three boys under 8 for under $15. We don't buy drinks at the fast food places generally because they are a total waste of money for us because we usually buy our fast food at the drive thru and then take it home and we just get our own drinks at home. We have found that we are unable to eat in a restaurant with the three boys because when they are all together they are too difficult to deal with and eat our own food because by the time they are taken care of foodwise, they are done in minutes and we have just started on our food and then they start to misbehave. It's unpleasant. Plus restaurants cost so much! We recently went out to eat at The Olive Garden for the first time in a year and the food was great but the meal for two adults and one 2 year old baby was nearly $50.00 with the tip and we drank water to save the $6.00! Eating at home is much cheaper but sometimes you just want to go out [to a real restaurant] or you need something fast and no one feels well enough to cook, that's the reason we grab fast food. We rarely go to real restaurants. And I know the food is not very healthy simply because everything is fried in giant vats of oil.

That's what good in your country the food cost is very cheap not like here in my place eating in a real restaurant much better than fastfood seeing that it will cost a little difference than fastfood and much healthier, or just cook instead. Thanks for sharing.

Generally I don't love to eat in a fastfood restaurant, but I do like Burger King and Subway a lot. It's much cheaper than eating in a real restaurant, but the food is much less healthy too. I really prefer to cook my own meals, that's both cheap and healthy, plus I love spending time in the kitchen with my boyfriend.

um... it's definitely cheaper than eating in a real restaurant, especially in the united states... but in no way is it healthy. even places like subway which tout 'freshness' (most of their stuff comes in packages full of preservatives) are pushing the limits of 'healthy' fast food... let's face it, getting a quick meal and eating it twice as fast isn't good for you, period. stay home and spend a couple of hours cooking good food with your family... you'll be amazed at how good it feels.
