Yes our actions surely have an affect on what our siblings would do. They take us as their heros and try to do whatever we are doing. They have a tendency to imitate their parents so surely we should check our acts set a right impression on our children.

I only have brothers, but when we were small, my younger brother wanted to do everything just like my older brother. He wanted to dress the same, play the same games, watch the same tv shows. My older brother could do no wrong in his eyes. Also, my younger brother looked to me for that nurturing touch because our mom had to work 2 jobs when we were small. So, I would be the discipline and the cook, while my older brother was the idol. That's why it's really important for older siblings to be good role models for the younger ones. In any case, he grew out of it once he started school and started making his own friends and forming his opinions. My little brother turned out to be a pretty good guy after all.

im the youngest in our family so when im still a kid, i use to do what my older sister always does. i like what she like. i bought dresses like hers. i adopted hobbies that she like and make it my hobbies. i look up to her.
but now that i have a mind of my own, i dont want to be like her (no personal reason). i just want to be different from her. i just want to set my own style and do my own thing.
