I still remember watching reruns of this black and white program late at night back when I was in high school. Creepy, mysterious, disturbing. The music and colorless screen just seem to add to the effect.
My most remembered episode of this series was about this paranoid guy who happens to ride an airplane. WHen he looked at his sidewindow, lo and behold, he saw a gorilla-like monstrosity wrecking the plane wings. Of course no-one believed him, until he took matters to his own hands.
Brrr... it still gives me the jippers.

My personal favorite is the episode where Herold and his wife win that trip to a casino in Las Vegas and after winning once, he is almost possessed, unable to rest and hearing is name sounded out by the slot machines as they roll throughout the night. His wife wakes up the next morning to find him exausted and having lost every time.
My second favorite is when Jack Plubman is a pool shark who is always reminded that he is not as good as the 'champ.' As the last one at the bar, he silently wishes that he could play the champ. As quickly as he finishes his wish, he then plays the champ and wins. The champ then hands him the title of the champ, and reveals to him that he is doomed to play until some new punk beats him.

Twilight zone really has fascinating stories with interesting plots. Not really your ordinary horror stories. Sometimes, their not really creepy, but horribly disturbing. Makes you ask a lot of questions as you go to sleep.

They are not really disturbing, as much as they are thought provoking. They bring questions to your mind, if you are able to relate you bring yourself into the episode, and then the show comes to an end and then allows you to reflect of its affects on you.

Yes That's it! That was the title. Hmm... yeah. I remember "suddenly" having to go to the kitchen everytime he looks at the window. Hehe. I was the only one who watches this series back then. I was alone on the living room late at night. Brrr...

Wow what memories that brings back, The episode you make reference to was one of three that were included in "Twilight Zone: The Movie".
My most memorable is one that starred Jack Klugman (Oscar from The Odd Couple) as a pool shark. I also remember the one with the ventriliquist whose dummy came alive.
Rod Serling was a stinkin' Genius!
