Would you be willing to put yourself at risk financially to pursue a dream?

Last year around this time I quit my job in order to pursue my dream as a writer. My book is almost finished, but my finances are getting shaky. I believe wholeheartedly in my work, but have accrued a serious debt to follow my passion. Now the ultimate test is just ahead, will my book be published or not? And if not was it worth it to at least try? I think so, but would you be willing to do it?

First, congratulations on the near completion of your book! You must be so proud. It is scary to take a risk but sometimes, I think we have to go for it. I hope you can get the debt situation worked out and I hope your book will be very successful.
Have you already submitted a book proposal to any publishers?
I think it is worth a try. I took a risk to become a work at home mom and it was worth it to me. I'm not making a ton of money, but it's getting better all the time.
