Is he checking in with me or checking up on me?

My man calls me at least 15 times a day until he gets home. I used to think he was just being sweet calling to say I just wanted to check in with you, see what's going on and to tell you that I love you.Now I have started to wonder if it's more like checking up on me, because he will get upset if I am unable to make it to the phone for some reason and he knows that I'm here. So, now I'm just not sure. What do you think, checking in or up on me?

I think that it is checking up on you. My brother use to do it to his wife. She had cheated on him before while he was at work. After she cheated the first time he didn't feel as if he could trust her. He was right, she was cheating.

its hard to second guess. however, base on my own experience its more on checking up than checking in. i had a gf that use to do that. at first i also thought that it was sweet. but after a while it became annoying. its like reporting my every move every day. try talking with him. know why he is upset when you don't answer the phone as quickly as he like you too.

it must be more than what you are leading on in this story but if you realyy want the answer i think that he is checking up on you to see what you are doing and that is not right for him to do and it sounds like trust issues on his part and that you should think twice before extending your relation ship with him because matters will only get worse.
