Really, come to think of it. There are so many things that one can think up of. I personally feel that the biggest key to keep a marriage working is learning to compromise. What do you think?

Compromise is a biggie when it comes to marriage. Also patience and understanding of each other are a must. You must learn to accept the other person and not try to mold them into what you want them to be because they are their own person. Trust is also big in a marriage. If you can't trust your spouse then your marriage will not last.

I agree that a number of problems are caused by familial intrusions in marriage. How do you think these can be avoided?
