Yes, Im so eager to learn Chinese. I once worked in an area with lots of chinese and the company i working is even owned by a chinese businessman. Since then I tried to learn chinese because I believe it would be an advantage on my part if I will be able to at least understand the language if I will be meeting with a chinese client. So what I did was I bought a booklet with a cassete tape which you have to listen to as you read the book so I can learn how to speak it well. But gosh, it was really so har for me. Ive learned some sentences though but i cant make a complete sentence of my own. I only got to memorize sentences given in the book as an example like "Ni hao Ma.. or Di Ho bo?" that's the same in meaning, am I right? Its just the other is mandarin and the other one is Fookien. And I also learned counting from one to ten.. heheh
