What is an AFFAIR?

So the title of this post goes... "what is an AFFAIR?" What is your idea of an affair? Have you ever experienced one? How did you recover from it? What are the possible risks, pros and cons of such a consenting relationship between two adults? Are women more vulnerable to this? How come women are faulted more when they have affairs than men? Does that mean that men are given this privilege if their wives have changed during the marriage process? Please share your thoughts on this. Advices are welcome... Thanks :)
