I really want to have a "shopping buddy" which can go shopping with me and enjoy it. I had when I was a student and now, after working in a company,I can't find a right person . Several times,I went shopping with my colleague but mostly,I go out with my husband. He always feel tired and impatient for it.
I think it's necessary to have a "shopping buddy",it can give you right advice when trying clothes etc ,the seller always give unreal praise to you as they want you to buy their products.

i really do not understand why our husbands can never be supportive of us whenever we go out shopping. they are always tired and will always say that they cannot exactly say anyway if the dress is a good one and the right one for us. yet, when we will be going out with htem for an important occasion, the husband will immediately have a good idea as to which one among our clothes will best fit for the moment.

I prefer to go shopping with some of my kids around to help. If we shop for groceries, they can greatly help me to be able to come up with everything faster and quicker. Then they can help me also in dealing with the items after we are out of the supermarket, usually the whole thing is too heavy for me to handle alone. When I go shop for clothes and other items, there will always be somebody who can honestly tell me whether the thing looks good in me or if it is a no-no. We can never rely fully on how we perceive ourselves in the mirror.

Oh yes right about the mirror thing, I even noticed that some shops tune their mirrors so that the person would look more slender and nicer in their clothes. It's really good to have an honest friend along if you're shopping for clothes.

You would still go with your boyfriend if you are going to buy girly stuff? Wouldn't your boyfriend be bored? I know a lot of guys would get bored shopping with girls *laughs*.

I usually go shopping alone. I don't know why, I just love shopping alone, even though I go to the shopping mall with my buddies and find something I really like, I usually won't buy that in front of my friends. I would go back to the mall on another day, alone, to buy the thing.
But on the other hand, I love accompanying my friends to shop! Even they are shopping for something that have totally nothing to do with me or something that I would never use!

Wow, how unique! I can't shop alone and I ask myself not to shop alone because I just can't control myself! I guess I am a person who don't have self-control at all.

Most times I do all my shopping online, so there's no buddy riding along to steal the good deals. But, sometimes I will email a shopping link to a friend so she can enjoy the money savings too. Must do that soon!

*laughs* Oh yes and that would be no hassle having to carry those things around as they are mostly delivered to your door! Online shopping is really a convenient way and your friends must be happy to receive some good deals email from you!

i like to go shopping alone. If i go out with friends and family, i tend to end up buying nothing because i care too much what they think. My mom thinks its silly because she buys whatever she wants if she likes it that much. She won't let anyone's opinion affect that.

Really? I can't go shopping alone, because if my friends won't stop me, then I would probably end up buying the whole store if I like everything there. I don't seem to be able to control myself *laughs*. I am doing better now but still I won't let myself going out all alone without "guidance".

I normally shop alone. I think I'm scared that if a friend would come with me and she would criticize my choices, I'd feel bad and we won't be friends anymore LOL I trust my own style so I normally prefer to shop alone.

Hello, wondricequeen, most of the time,i will go shopping with my friends,i may not really enjoy in shopping,i may just be happy to meet up with my friends and chat with them when we are shopping. We may or may not have same style of things, but it is not a problem as i am quite patient to look at something which i may not have much interests on.
Occasionally i may go shopping alone, especially when i am having grpcery shopping,i would say i prefer to shop with company than alone.

I usually like shopping alone. I'm not a big shopper so I it's just faster for me to shop alone. The only times I like to bring my friends along is if I'm shopping for a dress or something for a special occasion. I like to have input to make sure I don't get anything that will make me look crazy.

My Mom, when she was alive, was my shopping buddy. I really don't have one now. I like shopping by myself most of the time. VEry few people like to look at the same things I do for as long as I do. So right now, I don't really have a buddy for clothes and food shopping.
But my hubby is bookstore buddy. We like to go to bookstores and look for books. Usually we look for different books and show each other. If I see something he might like or vice versa, we show each other. Except close to X-mas time when we sneak out (after paying of course) without the other one seeing what book we got the other one. Do you have a shopping buddy or do you shop alone?

I'm lucky in that I have TWO! My daughter takes me for groceries, and drives the bunch of us when there is a special occasion coming and we need EVERYTHING!
But when I shop with my BFF... we go to bookstores and craft stores, finding the materials and working out the ideas right in the store, taking home loads of good stuff... now we just need the time to make all those things!LOL! We also find books for each other... and if there's only one, we share!

My boyfriend is an awesome shopping buddy. We have so much fun! It doesn't matter what we shop for, clothes, food, household stuff, anything, I love shopping with him!
