why do you think people like to listen to gossips?

I have listened to gossip, I am sure we all have and probably spread it too. It is awful though. I feel it's because people have nothing better to do, it makes them feel better about themselves, and when you are talking about someone else it's means there not talking about you. too many people get hurt and loose friendships this way. The only thing you can do is try not to be a part of it the best you can.

gossip is an interesting word. when does talking about peope turn into gossip? I am a hairstylist, and people think that all we do is gossip! But truly, having a conversation with your client about his/her and your life is just conversation. i think if you discuss something mean about someone then its gossip.,which i don't feel is proper in any form of business or pleasure. bad thoughts about people should stay in our minds, and not said outloud to others unless there is something really horrible that you need to say.

i think they are just letting their days pass. and it shows sign of not being busy - having nothing to do but gossip.

oh no I don't like gossips and speaking about others lives and troubles..but I am perfectly aware of the fact that this is the favourite sports of the most of the people, no matter if men or women..I am known to be the last person who will know a thing about a person or a fact..this is because I am used to doing my work and nothing more in order to go away as soon as I finish it and do all the other things I like or I am used to listening to what a person is telling me without asking more...there is no point in forcing people telling me what they don't want to and I like respecting others and their feelings...and I do hope they would respect mine but I am told that there are lots of people making gossips about me, about me that I don't lose a moment to gossip about them!!!

Gossips are always intersting. And they add that much spice to the whole story. We like listening to gossips because we always want something extra in life (i am talking about the extra spice in life).

I admit I sometimes fall to the temptations and gossip as well. I guess its a matter of having the attitude and the lifestyle. Unfortunately it has maybe become a lifetsyle but I have tried to cut it down abd I am still in the point of trying to correct it coz I know its now good.

because they have nothing else to do that is why gossip is the best thing to deal with.. but I tell you if someone is busy doing his/work gossip is the last resort.... so keep yourself busy and you can avoid it.. I for one hate gossips... "Do not do unto others what you do not want others do unto you" I think I will stick with that...*winks
