what is your all-time favorite movie?

My all time favorite movie is Gone With The Wind. I loved Ret Butler. He was a strong character who had a lot of love to give but he really did not know how at first. Scarlett was another strong woman who had a hard time returning someones love. The script for this movie was perfect. The burning of Atlanta was great. There was not a lot of computer generated action scenes. However, it is a good story and great action in my opinion.

The best movie for me is Spiderman, both movies. I think it is the best superhero movie if not the best movie of all time. If you will just consider all the aspects to it. The acting, direction, special effects, characterization, costume design, etc. It's like literally revived the enthusiasm in both the comic book and movie industry .

I would have to say Breaker Morant. It was based on true events, an Austrailian made film, about the Boer wars at the turn of the century. Well the last century, about the early 1900's. It is so well written and well acted that it gives me such pause. I first saw this movie when I was in college and it still moves me. I also like Casablanca, The Shawshank Redemption and Underworld. Predator was a really cool movie for its time as well.

My favorite movie has to be Emma. I love most of Jane Austen adaptation movies but this was my favorite. I've watched it a number of times. I also love Ever After and Pride and Prejudice 2006.
