apparently sending flowers is not a funky idea nowadays.but ladies,do you still look forward to getting a bunch of flowers from ur man or the guy you have a crush on?do you always feel romantic and pleased when you recieve them from the right person?recently my friends bf bought her a bunch of white roses and i can tell she's happy and maybe a bit touched about that.to be nice i said that was romantic of him though i didnt really mean it.because buying gf flower is an idea any guy can easily come up with.he should do something special in order to be truely romantic.
ohhh does it depend on what kind of flowers your feeling differs?

Are you kidding me? as long as it is a flower or bunch of flowers for that matter, i will be super pleased... I do not even care if it was just taken from the backyard, i will still be pleased. I am a very romantic person so i will be very happy and pleased if I will receive one...

Honestly, I think it was a bit mean of you to say it was romantic when you didn't mean it.
My partner surprises me with flowers from time to time, not just roses, but carnations, tulips, whatever he feels like buying, and I'm ALWAYS grateful.
It's not that any man can go buy flowers, it's the thought behind it that counts. Maybe they're buying flowers just to show their partner they care and not trying to actually be romantic.

I will be pleased if someone give me a flower regardless of the gender who give me flower.Because its very nice to know that there is someone who care, love and give importance to us.We are happy when someone loves us we cannot deny that. And our life could be that happier and meaningful if many people loves you as what you are.

Well, roses are my favorite flowers to receive, so that's usually what my husband gives me. I like all colors so he'll surprise me sometimes. I like lots of other kinds of flowers too, so any time he sends flowers or gives me flowers, I think it is sweet. It may not be original, but I still think it's romantic.
A colorful bouquet of spring flowers like daisies is also nice.

i love it when my husband gets me flowers, an type and any amount. I just don't really get them very often which is good because they cost so much, i'd really prefer one that I could plant most of the time. However girls are suckers for roses, anytime any place.

If my man sends me flowers, I would be really happy no matter which types they are. But the thing is, I don't really enjoy seeing a bundle of flowers because after some time they will die, I would rather see them in a pot or in a field where they're more lively. Well, so I will be way more touched if I receive some flowers in a pot (oh am I sounding weird? *laughs*), in that way, I could take care of them and nuture them and after they dry out, they will come back again. I think my ideas of relationship is kind of the same with nuturing flowers.
But you know, if it's the right person who sends the gift, I will be just happy and feel so romantic even he sends me some grass *laughs*.

Yes, personally I get really touched when my guy friends offer me flowers. It's something which makes me feel that I'm special. It has this certain meaning that only I can understand. Flowers are just flowers, it can easily die.. no matter how expensive they are. But really, it's something women should greatly appreciate :)

giving floweres to your loved one's is a very usual way of showing them how you feel and is one way of expressing your feelings, though you right its too common i think it would be better if they will think of other ways.. like right now its very rare to see a man serenading a lady. i thnk that would be cool!

not all men are up to buying flowers for their girls. i know most men who aren't up for the idea. whenever i ask them, they always say, they feel embarrassed carrying a bouquet of roses on their way to their girlfriends. they say, they look like gays by doing so. and i so, by hearing such excuses, i feel that men who have the courage to give their girls bouquets of flowers are romantic and even courageous.
i might be shallow but i am so touched and happy whenever my boyfriend sends me or buys me flowers. it's one way for me to feel that my boyfriend is thinking about me even if he's too busy about work and life itself.

yes...even though i have only recieved 'friendship' flowers. i think it's very nice to recieve flowers no matter from who because it show's that they have been thinking of you...
i don't mind any kinds of flower...as long as it's from someone special and it's for ME...sunflower is very nice, colourful diasy is preety too...a bunch of lavender is really romantic...and i really like Orange roses...i don't know it's specific name, but the rim of the rose petals is bright orange, then the colour fades to bright yellow towards the middle part of the rose...pink or whote or red or lilac roses are all very nice...lilies or tulips are really sweet too...
but there are many more special gestures that you can do for someone special to you...you can sms him or her a special sms before you go to bed...that's really sweet too...once, i have a guy friend who catches leaves that haven fallen to the ground and paste them on this cardboard to form "4ever 2gether happily" and use lots of glitters and stuff to decorate it...i must say it's a very special gift and that his girlfriend is eally very please and it's very original too. (leaves that haven't fallen to the ground is suppose to represent a happy day...it's a fairy tale)
i agree that flowers sometimes seem impractical because it cannot be kept for long...so i would actually like a potted flower...it last longer...or...i think it's really sweet to prepare a hot water bath for someone special to you...preferly milk or champagn bath with lots and lots of colourful rose petals floating on it...
But mostly...it's the thought that counts...

receiving a gift/flowers from somebody you love will always give you the feeling of excitement/happiness. it may not be that meaningful to the one giving it but it is to the one receiving the gift whether expensive or not...it's the thought that counts.... anyway, i still believe that a BF should ought to do something more special than just giving a bunch of flowers to show how much she appreciates the other person... but it's the start... just plain hopeless romantic i guess... i wish my future BF would give me flowers plus more... he he he not just the flowers....

I do love to receive flowers. But just because. not for any reason just because he loves me. My ex used to bring me flowers when he would go out and drink and not come home till late. he thought it would help. Finally I took the flowers he gave me and threw them in the trash. lol That stopped him from bringing me flowers but it didn't stop his night outs . Thats why he is my ex.

yeah, the idea buying flowers for your gf is not romantic anymore. but once your in the situation that a guy gave you a flower, well, it srill feels nice.
also, i think it depends on who is giving you flowers and what kind of person he is. is he your crush? do you like the guy? is he the kind of guy who never bothers to buy gifts and all of a sudden he gave you flowers? or is he the kind of guy who usually buy flowers to get his latest gf? so i think it depends on the guy giving the flowers.
