Okay I thought I'd lighten up a bit since some of my discussions have been heavy duty ones..heheh...As kids we all have had our imaginary, make believe friends..my question is..do you still despite being "grown-up"? I do...in a way I guess anyway..when I'm home alone I often talk to myself but then again not really..sometimes I "pretend" I'm talking to my"friends" especially if there is something I'm dealing with where I need encouragement..So heheh...do you have your friends too?

The only imaginary friends I play and talk to are the ones that my children play and talk to....and only when they are around.
I am actually a pretty quiet person. So, when I am alone, the house is often very quiet with the exception of the dogs barking here and there.
Heck, often if my phone rings, it will scare the crap out of me because it broke the silence in the house. ha ha
Other than that...if I talk to anyone that I can not see with my own eyes. Trust me, that being is not imaginary. ha ha

I just had to listen to your phone ring...oh that's precious--LOL--sounds the way I am at times...I'm pretty much a quiet person myself...if fact I feel very comfortable being alone with myself.. just have too many things to do to feel lonely. And I know what you mean...I tend to work on my projects very intently...with a lot of concentration...especially if I'm painting, or working on my crafts..so if the phone rings I jump out of my skin...especially if I'm doing one part of a painting that is very intricate and detailed..I'm always the phone will ring and I'll mess up my painting...But no I do still talk to imaginery friends, and of course my cats get a lot of talking to...and I swear they know what I'm saying!

They always say it is healthy to talk to your self as long as you don't answer yourself back.....
personally I do it all the time as well, many times I catch myself asking myself questions of should i do that or no....is it my imaginary friend or concious...both I guess.
