With all the tainted dog and cat food scandal and all the wonder pets that have been lost of made ill. I see now that Iams is trying desperately to get your business back by offering a 4 kg bag of dog or cat food, a 15.00 value free to any pet owner from Canada and the USA .My question is will you trust this product again? and if you don't trust it for you pet, a Mylot friend suggested a great idea and order, the free bag and donate it to your local shelter. I will include the link at the bottom of this posting. I know myself I did order the bag and will be donating as my friend suggested. But I'm wondering how many Iams users will return to there products. Please give me your opinion and please remember to order for yourself or your local shelter they always need it Cheryl USA link http://us.iams.com/iams/global/IamsHome.htm Canada links Free bag of Cat Food from Iams, going through save.ca http://www.save.ca/iamspromise/cat/prod_page.php Free bag of Dog Food from Iams, going through save.ca http://www.save.ca/iamspromise/dog/prod_page.php

I never served Iams to my pet, mainly because my daughter did a major research paper on it a couple of years ago in high school on animal cruelty and Iams was the one of the biggest companies that contributed to it..I didn't buy the food mainly because of respect to her because she believed that the company used animals to test their products..I don't really know if there was legal proof because I don't know how credited her research was...when it was announced that Iams pet food was tainted I didn't worry because i didn't buy any of the brands that was taken off the shelves, they could give away 100 bags of free dog food I wouldn't purchase it, but I will use your link and get a free bag for the local SPCA, they need all the help they can get...thanks for the link..

your more than welcome hon and I did a little research on the information you shared with me and couldn't come up with anything but that by no means says there isn't any truth to it but your very right animal shelters need our help .I have adopted both my kitties from my local shelter. thanks so much for responding Cheryl

My goodness. Iams had such an excellent reputation. The RSPCA & especially the vets here always promote Iams. I read a number of discussions on the Iams problem here on my Lot. I would imagine that you could trust the product again. Iams are not going to compromise such a popular product.
