I find fried rice very versatile. It's easy to cook and you can just almost anything that you enjoy eating to it and it would taste great.
Usually I like to add seafood to my fried rice. I'd fry a tonne of scrambled eggs. Then toss them into my fried rice and then I'd add a generous helping of crab meat. Yummy!
Add some butter too for a truly great taste!
How about you? What sort of ingredients do you like to add to your fried rice and why? :)

I like ghicken fried rice with the peas in it. I also scramble up eggs and add to it! My favorite!

When I make fried rice, I add whatever leftover meat and vegetables I have. It is such a great way to use up those leftovers and it stretches the food to another meal. I will sometimes marinade the cooked meat a little before chopping it up and adding it, if it didn't have as much flavor originally. My son is allergic to eggs so I don't add them to the rice, but I do like eggs scrambled up and added.
Do you make yours in a wok? I don't have a wok now and find rice made on top of the stove really isn't fried rice anymore.
The crab meat sounds good - never tried it, but it would make a completely different tasting meal.
