LARA is perhaps the greatest batsman of the modern era as accepted by most of the bowlers. who can forget what he has done to entertain his fans for the past 17 years.
his cuts and pulls are trademark lara shorts , he is truly a great player and a champion. i hope the west indian team sees one their greatest players leave the field on a positive note

BRIAN Lara has called time on his international career and, for those of us on the non-combative side of the boundary rope, there will be much to miss. The extravagant backlift that, somehow, never diminished his ability to play genuine pace. The flicks of the wrist that sent full, straight deliveries into the mid-wicket seats. The pull shots that were part martial artistry, part artistry.
