Arguing to someone you dont like is a waste of time. You might end up on a fist fight or a heated arguments which sometimes lead to trouble which none of you could benefit. People who are hardheaded won't listen to anyone but himself. I'll just leave them alone and do some things that makes me productive.

Sometimes I do enjoy the arguments especially when there are totally different sets of views involved. I usually know when the heat is getting too much to handle, that's when I back off and stop arguing. It's healthy venting out your emotions.

Usually I try to avoid arguing. If I dislike someone, I would try to avoid having to face them. Arguing with them would mean that I would have to see them while I am arguing, which is something I want to avoid in the first place. So I'd rather just leave them alone.
They can call, yell, shout, but I'd just walk away. It's my way of saying "you are so unimportant that I refuse to even engage you."

I guess it all depends on what the topic of the argument is. Usually I just ignore them because its just a waste of time talking to them. But, I'll argue with them if they offend me or really pi** me off and or hurt others.
