You can git him anything from latest C.D.s to watch,clothes to sports T-shirts.But in my opinion the best gift is to give him a holiday ticket for two of you.You can choose a nearby destination and I think it would not cost you more.

my boyfriend and I are fond of giving each other our so called "efforts". we also do not want to spend much for material things. if we want to give ou something, we're just making those things that we have an extra special one. like our pictures, put it in a collage. send musical electronic email and put a very heart-warming message in it. gift is not only something which can be bought, it is something that is given whole heartedly. i know that you're boyfriend would appreciate anything that comes from you. the best present would be to choose his favourite hobbie, i.e football then go to ebay and buy something from the past related to that subject.

i think you are thinking correctly... watch or necklace will be ok.. if he likes sports then buy some sports T-shirt.. it should be something which meets his liking.
