Hospital food

There's a huge difference between what gets served to patients and what they offer in the cafeteria. I am so sick of hospital food because they repeat the same menu every two weeks

Yeah, hospital food is not as good as home cooking. I guess the main reason is because they don't have a budget for a more interesting menu or maybe they intended the meals for sick people so they reduce the salt, sugar and all. Lol. I had been hospitalized once and I just ate the hospital food if nobody brought me any. My tummy was operated so I didn't have the mood to think about food and how they taste. I just eat to survive, that's all. I really hate hospitals actually. But to think about it now, if given a choice I would not want to eat hospital food because they are not appealing at all.

Ohhh . . . I hate hospital food . . . I think it is very unhygienic and the taste is horrible . They usually don't put salt or condiments in it because some patients are not allowed to eat salty food . And I don't like the way it looks either . So I prefer my own home made food :) that my family or relatives bring . . .

is been awhile since i was in a hospital-but at the time the food was awful. they'd give you cold hamburgers with nothing on it,not even ketchup.thin,tastless soups,and ferina for breakfast (yuck!) my mom said it has improved though-last time she was in,it even smelled good.

I just got out of the hospital. I was there for 4 months. Yuk ! I think I lost about 27 pounds from not eating . lol It is terrible.

I worked in a hospital for 7 years, and I have to say I did not like most of the food. I usually chose to have the sndwich bar or the salad bar. Breakfasts were not so bad, but the main meals of the day seemed to always consist of chicken. I like chicken but not every day of the week.

Everyone says that hospital food is disgusting. But I actually love it and best of all I didnt have to cook it.

I never liked hospital food. They are too pale and bland and doesn't taste good. In fact, just by looking at it makes me lose my appetite.

I have worked in a few hospitals and the food differs from one place to the other, it all depends on the cooks. The place I'm at now has wonderful food! I will say it is a little bland and could use a little more salt but they have to do it that way for different diets, and you can always say could I have more salt.
