how do you get rid of a know-it-all person?

how do you get rid of a know-it all person,? someone who is petending and feeling that she knows it all? loves to argue and never think of others feelings? i have a co-worker that acts like this, and to the fact that she never graduated elementary makes my nerve and blood pressure high LOL. i do not want to argue and i do not want to waste my time in useless argument, but sometimes i get mad at her. what will i do?

Hi! I have a friend like that. If he staarted a discussion that I think he wouldn't accept other opinions, I just nod my head and pretend that I am listening to him. And it worked! Because he asked me if I'm interested on the things he was telling me and I answered him that I don't want to argue on people who cannot accept other opinion. Try it, maybe it'll work for you.
