If you know how to haggle , you can buy a lot for 500 pesos or 10 dollars. I can buy a cheap pair of denim pants, cheap tank top ,a pair of flipflops, a pair of sunglasses.

It would depend on where you shop ofcourse but here in PA, I could buy alittle over 3 gallons of gas for 10.00 dollars or I could take my husband and daughter to McDonalds for lunch. We can all eat there for under 10.00 dollars off the dollar menu. If I went to the grocery store I could buy bread (.49)eggs(.89)margarine(.45) milk(3.16)waffles(.99)bologna(.99)cheese(1.49)bag of apples(1.50) so there I could do quite a bit for my ten dollars. You just need to know how to bargain shop.

Well in my country USD10 means about RM35.00. I think I can only buy a book. If there are a few magazines. Clothes? Maybe two T-shirts and a skirt. Footwear ..... a pair of local branded sports shoes. However, for the same anount of money, we can buy some food for the whole week.

I'm not very good in haggling, but I'm very good in finding cheap yet fabulous finds, and I don't get them in Divisoria, but from malls. I don't know if it's a gift or a talent that I've developed through the years. I can buy 3 shoes for 500 or even less. I remember I bought a Janeo heeled shoes before that looks like Italian shoes for 100 pesos only! I bought 2- in black and brown and they're surprisingly very durable. I feel really good when I make the most out of my money by getting quality products at a cheap price. :)
