The old man & the sea is I think the best english book I have ever read.I t is very interesting,emotional,optimistic,valuable story.The story is I think the height of positive thinking!The language is very very beautiful,lucid & still easy to understand.The descriptions made in this book instantly create pictures in your mind. Man it is must to read.

First off - welcome to myLot. I hope you will have fun here. I agree. Lovely book. Hemmingway at his best. You can almost smell the sea and feel the fatigue of the old man! The sort of book you can keep on your bookshelf for the rest of your life and go back to it again and again.
