I guess you have completely misuderstood that feature. After your 500 points, you will have the additional feature copy and paste instead of typing it directly in the box of mylot. It does not mean that you can copy and paste any articles or anything from any other sites or wikipedia, etc which is definitely not allowed in mylot. You can type your replies and discussions in ms word, notepad, etc and paste the same into the mylot, that is the only benefit you get after reaching 500 points.

To add to it, this feature was not there when mylot started but then all the new users started to misuse by copying and pasting from websites, wikipedia, etc and hence mylot has decided to disable the feature of copy pasting for the new users and had to reach at least 500 points to get to that feature, as they had in mind that experienced users will not misuse by copy and pasting from other sources.

I agree with milott. You can't copy and paste stuff from other websites. This feature only means that you can write your discussions, threads and maybe answers to some posts in a notepad offline and then if you have the chance to go online in mylot already, you can just copy and paste those.

Milott is right. Copy and paste isn't permission to use other people's work or to post hundreds of discussions. Some people do that, but they usually get caught and their accounts are deleted. Being able to copy and paste is a convenience if you want to quote something without having to type it. I sometimes use it when I want to show exactly what part of someone's discussion or reply I'm responding to. When I use it that way, I enclose it in quotes.
