Allopathic medicine (the current medical model we are forced to live under) has some wonderful things and has its place, but its not good for everything. It is good at surgery and some of its medicines are ok and that is where it ends. It is no good at insomnia, upset stomach, heart disease, cancer, allergies, headaches, or even delivering babies (Europeans do a better job with home deliveries than our system does with hospital deliveries). Health care in Europe is cheaper, just as advanced and no different than ours, other than it allows for non-allopathic practices, like Herbalism. As long as our medical model is money driven, there is no incentive to change the status quo, even if there is something better. We should adopt an old Chinese system of paying to stay well, preventing disease and should we ever become ill, not pay another dime until well again, and not just the absence of disease. Things have to change or collapse under its own stupidity, hurting everyone in the process. For more information, visit: Sebahu.com
