my doctor advised me to refrain from eating foods with too much salt for this will cause my blood pressure to increase more. it's one of the house rules now that we have to use less salt in preparing our foods to avoid having health problems. although the food sometimes are tasteless because of little salt in it, at least we will be safe from hypertension.

I like salty food too 2 -3 years ago. Now I don't eat so much salt food because I add some other seasonings on it. It tastes good.

I don't really eat a lot of salty foods, but they still taste great. I Like to eat salty foods and I agree that food's are tasteless. If you are still healthy then I wouldn't worry about it that much. The truth is that there are really no bad foods if everything is kept in moderation. Salt may actually have a benefit in our foods, but after hearing that it could increase the chance of having cardiovascular disease, I would reduce my salt intake. In conclusion, I don't think salt is bad for you, but reducing can benefit your health.

I don't use salt on anything and find my food to taste great. I like the fresh taste of my vegetables with nothing on them because I like the fresh taste of them with nothing artificle. I always have cooked this way and I also don't add pepper. If I add anything to my food it is like cheese and that is all. As far as cardiovuscular disease is concerned I don't think that the only thing to do is lesson your salt intake and you won't have this disease. I think there is more to preventing that disease than the salt intake you have.

I looooooooooooooove salt, in fact I always add some to almost any dish -
Now if I knew my life was in danger and my doctor would advice me to eat less salt, I probably would do it but, like you, I am healthy even with all that extra salt so I just enjoy it for now.
