Do you believe in superstition?

I don't. But it makes me laugh every time I hear a new one. I was cooking lunch yesterday with my daughter's nanny around. I was singing while cooking and suddenly she stopped me saying,"you're gonna be a widow soon if you do that". It's ridiculous,isn't it? Just for the fun of it, please share some superstitions that you know or heard before. Thanks.

hi I'm not the superstitious type and I usually brush off or laugh off any old wives tales that I heard. An old wives tale i heard recently is "if your kitchen is having problem, e.g. the kitchen cabinet door broke or a small leak in the sink, and not fix up properly, the female owner of the house will contract some kind of illness"..... RIDICULOUS!

Ha ha ha! That's really funny and unfair, I guess. Kitchen problem is kind of curse to the females :) You're right. Ridiculous can be a good word to describe that. Thanks.
