Here in Canada we are now gettng out spring weather, and summer is just around the corner, what are your plans for the summer, mine will be a lot of yard work, painting, gardening, and some landscaping, hopefully i will have time to do a little camping. What do you do in the summer months?

Look around like crazy for alternate income, because my major job does not exist in the summer. In between, I spend as much time as possible out doors. I do a lot of yard work, and had a halfway decent garden last summer. We go to the lake when we have a day off together. We own a canoe. Today I spent the day at a Special Olympics track and field regional competition. I am sun and wind burned. Does your hopeful post indicate that your health is getting better?

Spring has just arrived here so we still have a while to go before summer gets here. I do have plans on going to North Carolina in July so I am looking forward to that very much. Other than that, my other summer plans will be going to the beach and going to some ballgames as well as doing my walking at the park and catching some movies. I too will be doing some yardwork and housework.

Summer has left us now .. here in Australia. Last summer .. the one just gone that is .. we were busy with our organic garden on our farmlet .. worked all the time on it .. first watering/irrigating the crops we had in .. then weeding, picking, and packing for market and local sales too. Plus I was busy driving trucks all week .. sometimes 6 days a week too .. all depended on how busy it was. Summer and early autumn .. fall to you probably .. is when we work long hard hours .. and maybe make some money too.
Next summer is doubtful .. drought here means no irrigation water for farmers .. that means we cannot plant any vegetables on our farmlet .. and will get only a little water for our fruit trees .. if we are lucky it will keep them alive but that is all it will do. Also means that I will be starting to work only about 1 day/fortnight .. the company I work for carts fertilisers, chemicals to the farmers .. and food products and grain from farmers when they are harvested.
Just two entirely different summers for us here .. or me anyway .. but it might rain up in the catchment areas in the coming weeks or months .. that might mean we get some irrigation water .. but only if the rain is up in the catchments.
