Have any of you you guys hit rock bottom?

Have any of you guys had such a bad experiance that you let all the stuff that was important to you go? Like, have you lost your job or wife, or had somebody die and then go off the deep end?
It wouldn't have to be rock bottom with drink or drugs, it could be any bad experience with any major bad outcome and consequence.
Has this happened to you? Once I lost a close friend and and it took me nearly a year to get back on my feet.

never but i've tried the walls of jericho on my friend..it really hurts..hahaha..I wish I could hit rock bottom to one of the a$$holes in my college!
