SLASH is maybe the most famous but efinetly not the best guitarist. Stevie Vai Eric Clapton Carlos Santana Is just a few guitarist that is way better than SLASH. Their teknik is great and they are fast and almost flawless in their play.

Jimi Hendrix by far is the best. But SLASH comes in second.

I'm pretty much a Vai freak, so it's Steve Vai for me. But there is also Vinnie Moore, Michael Romeo, Michael Lee Firkins, John Petrucci, Frank Gambale, the late Shawn Lane, Jeff Kollman etc...
