I have two standard DVD players, all three of the computers in my house DVD players and my PS2 plays DVDs. So in total i have six. Do you think this is too many? How many do you have in your house? Do you think people today go overboard on buying products that also play DVDs? I think it's kinda hard to buy most things like computers or game systems that don't include a DVD feature.

I have one standard DVD, one DVD wrighter/player on my PC, and one on my notebook.
So I have 3 in total. I usually play movies using the standard one. The others two I use them not for entertainment but for data backup and software installations. I don't think this is too many because devices having DVD installed function for specific purposes. Similar to water we consume each day. Some in soup, some in bottle, some in cola. Do you think this is too much also?

I don't think it is too much. Sometimes players just include DVD features so we really just can't help it. Even the new Discmans (does anybody still buy that?) can play DVDs. It's everywhere. Anyway, we have 2 computers (I'm not sure about the third- have to check) and a laptop (the other one's broken) that can play DVDs. The PS2 can play DVDs too. There are 3 pure DVD players, and one that can play DVD, VCD and Laser Discs. So that's... 8 in all.
