would you rather have trendy pieces or classic pieces?

im a classic conventional person so obviously, i tend to prefer the classic pieces because aside from its being classical, i like the fact that as long as i know how to mix and match pieces, i will never go wrong. it would break my heart to buy new trendy pieces only to find out that it is out of fashion the next few weeks. do you agree with me?

I don't think think that classic or trendy is the issue. I am a firm believer for acquiring what you like and are comfortable having. I have seen some beautiful pieces that I would have liked but could not afford. I have seen trendy stuff that I could probably afford but wouldn't get because the item just does not please my senses or my comfort requirements. I don't like to decorate but i do like comfort and calm
