How do you feel about your face becoming wrinklier and wrinklier?

And I don't mean getting a few wrinkles :)
It has sometimes happened to me that after seeing a very very old lady, small and wrinkled, to see her youth pictures and more often than not she used to be very beautiful. And now she has become that wrinkly old thing :( :( I think it's rather sad :(
Don't get me wrong, I know it's a fact of life and that everyone has to go through that. I'm not that beautiful to fear about losing my beauty and I am not vain. But the thought that one day I'll wake up and see in the mirror a totally different face than I now see (not to mention thinking about what people around me will see)... it saddens me. I do know it's gonna be a gradual process and that there are all sorts of anti-wrinkle creams, but in the end, if you live long enough, you'll end up nothing like the person you were. :(
What are your thoughts on that?

I am man. I have a lot of wrinkles. But it does not disturb me. If one wrinkle represents a year of my life, then I can be pleased. Because every year of my life was great. And I have lived many years. For a woman, this might be a bit more "terrible". So they spend a lot of money (also men do) on creams that "take" the wrinkles away. Or are supposed to. But I tell you, when I see a lady of, lets say, around 50 years, I still can find her attractive, wrinkles or not. Because beauty is not only physical.
