When can you say that you are successful in your life?

Well, maybe if I have done and accomplish all the things I wanna do. Like, earn enough money to buy all the things that I need and all the things my mom wants. If I can say that my mom is happy enough with her life, then I can say that I am successful already. As of now, I am still busy with my internet money making thing. Although, I am earning, i dont think it is enough to say I am a successful person.

Success as the wikipedia defines it means an achievement of an objective or a goal. If you reach that goal, you may say that you succeed but only in that particular objective. For an exmaple, if I set a goal to find a good paying job and finally found one, then I AM successful. I may be successful in some aspect and a failure in the other. Sucess in ONE'S LIFE depends on how we measure it and how we define it. As of now, I can say I am not yet successful because I haven't reached my goals in life.

For me success in life is when you have reached the goals you have set and can feel reasonably happy with the way your life is. Right now I feel successful because I have a job I love, a house, a car, a family, and I am in graduate school to get my degree in marriage and family therapy. I think that success is whatever will make you happy in life.

Like the fellow mylot-ers said... success for me is when i can achieve what i dream about.. and what i planned for. So as long as i am alive, i think it is good for me to always have something to achieve.. something that i will aim for... that will make my life more meaningful and it can be reason to live...

The word success means the completion of anything intended. "In other words success is finishing what you planned to do." If you will make a plan and do not follow it you will be failed. But If you will make a plan and follow it then you will become a successful. Just follow your dream a be successful. :)

If you are happy and satisfied thats it!

The moment you think that you are a successful person in life, the progress will stop same moment. So never think that u r a successful. Though we can say success in a field and have another to achieve. Always there should be planning of attaining new heights. If one is completed set other target and be busy on that. This will keep alive our zeal.

i really cannot say im successful right now bcause i am still in the process of doing my plan, in terms of achievements in life i know i haven't done much but having two kids is an achievement in itself, sure i have so many things that i wanna do im just taking things one at a time coz doing everything at once will not produce anything at all...these are the things that i know and that i always remember...i am happy with what i am, no regrets at all. what i have done in the past made me what i am now and what im doing now will make me what i am in the future.simple.

for me i can be successful in my life IF i have a kid on my own and my two siblings would finish college, i could let my parents travel abroad, pay all my debts and focus on my being a wife and a mom and will be a successful business woman.. :)

success depends on every individual. i think i am successful in terms of business. i have been working as an entreprenuer for 5 years now. the business that i started is still doing okay until these days. i also started a new one last month so this is my baby for now. i also feel successful in my married life. i have been married for 3 years now and i still feel that my relationship with my husband is growing better every day.

Success to me means satisfaction from whatever goal or position i want to acheive..If u r satisfied with what ever u have achieved then u r successful..u may be successful in the eyes of others but if u urslef are not satified with that then it has no meaning

erm.. in my opinion.. it depends on different point of view.. some people will consider success by having a complete family.. having all the things necessarily needed for life.. and that's success for them.. some might think having a good paying job is successful.. in other words, success means you have to achieve your dream.. something you always wanted to do.. and if you manage to achieve it.. you're successful.. to me.. money is equal to success. because i have to admit that i'm money minded.. why acting not like one when i am one? no points of lying to others right? someday, when i earn lots of money.. i will feel that i'm already successful..=/

I'm now successful in my life but I think the most successful is the one who finish their studies with professional degree and have a good work now and starting to build a God-fearing family.. but for now,, i'm satify in my life because i know contentment is the key to any success..

I will be successful in my life, when I will have a wife, a child, a house, and a business man career!

I think you can't be free from all things. We live in a world that's full of surprises. A person is a successful once he/she finds happiness in his family, friends, and work. Once im feel contentment in my life and once i find my happiness then i could say that im a successful in my life.

For me succesful in life can be described as fulfiling the purpose of life. For an example, the purpose of life of a particular person is to do everything that his God commands then the person is successful when he fulfils that purpose. If we think our purpose of life is to make $1,000,000 before we arrive at 40 years old then if we have the 1 million when we 39 we are a succesful person. Thats my opinion, maybe you not agree.
