Should i go it alone...

My daughter and I have been buying a house together over the past 4 years, now we'd like to go our own way but the price of house have trippled in that time. We've thought of getting a 2nd house and keeping the one loan and continue to go halves in the mortgage and rates, which would save of money but I,m worried about how difficult it may be if either one of us wants out five years down the track. Should i just get out altogether and that way we're responsible for no- one but our selves.
