Well I know for me it really helps with my tension and stress levels. When I smoke I am more relaxed. I actually have proof of this as well. When I don't smoke my doctor wants to put me on high blood pressure medication. However when I smoke my blood pressure stays right around 120/70, you can't get much better then that for a level. So smoking for me does have it's benefits. I'd rather smoke (where I know the possible effects of it) then take a pill that they really don't know that much about yet.

Benefits of smoking....
1. I don't/won't kill everyone before 10 am.
2. I don't/won't weigh as much as a house.
3. I keep away all the non-smokers because I stink so badly from smoking...lol
You really shouldn't smoke, it's bad for you! ;-)

I'm sure there are some benefits to smoking......if you think really hard.
For one, to get rid of people that irritate you or even people around you. Second, to actually be a guinea pig so that science can study what else they can do to save a smoker. Smokers do contribute to cancer. So their bodies would be great for post mortems! Cheers! - Lyn
