To gain weight for me seems really hard!!...

As the title says, how do I gain some more weight and meat. I've tried eating a lot but you can't really do anything when your stomach is full.
My mom used to tell me, wait till you get marry then you will want to be skinny.Smile.(I get marry,I get divorced ALSO(LOL)but i am same weight...lol!!ha ha...
I think working too much make your weight down...
Can you add something in this case?

Augustta, you are a lucky dog. So many women are dying to lose weight, but you are dying to gain weight. I'm thinking that to gain weight is easier than to lose weight. If you eat much, especially those high calorie food, you'll gain weight easily. Well, it seems you do not belong to the case. I can not give you any advice to gain weight, but I want to say please stop thinking about that. Having a slim figure has far more advantage than a fat figure. You get less disease, especially high blood pressure, diabetes, feel easy to move to have a slim figure.

protein and corbs are a great way to get your weight up. and i tell you what works for me. it is mind of matter. if you think that you can't gain weight then you won't be able to. i kept saying i can not get rid of this weight after i had my little girl until i learned what you think about most expands. your mind is very powerful and if you start thinking how easy it is to put on the pound as well as take action and eat the right foods you will be suprised

everytime i meet friends and relatives, one things' for sure.. they will comment on why i did not get fat at all. sometimes, it's funny. people can't just be happy that i have a good body and not worrying about slimming down (because it's harder to slim down when one is fat).
anyway, i tried going to the gym for three months and was given the "gain weight" program. i followed all that i was told to do to gain some more weight. i eat a lot for sure. i can't stop my stomach from letting food in. hehehe. i am a monster eater but i don't get fat.
after going to the gym and still did not gain any weight, i stopped. i guess i should be happy and feel lucky that i have this body most people are envious for.

all time my grandmom say"oh,pretty girl,you have to eat more,do you eat 3 times on day as you teach you"...rolling my eyes...
ha ha ha!
you can understand me very well being woman,i need 2 kg just to be at ideal weight...but those 2 kg will not come at all...

haha. thanks for the appreciation. and people think we rarely eat and starve ourselves, huh? what they don't know is eating is one of our favorite hobbies. i will look at it as my blessing... not getting fat when being able to enjoy everything i want to it! happy us!

Well sure shot way to increase weight is to eat at least 4 bananas with milk daily try doing that, you will definately gain weight.Next is become addicted to mylot and keep sitting in front of your computer that is really a weight gainer.

You are right,Augusta! It's high time that we stop asking weight loss questions and get started with gaining weight.Afterall size does matter.So,the bigger we get the better we should feel ,lol.I think you should boycott exercising ,sit in front of your computer and eat loads of bittersweet chocolates with lot of champagne.I have heard that coition also helps in weight loss.So,stay away from it.The last part is a joke,lol.

That really made me laugh. You must be the first lady I've ever heard say they want to put weight on!! I think as long as you are healthy, and can get through the day without losing too much vitality, you are probably at the weight you should be. People also have different metabolic rates, so you are probably burning calories quicker. Unless you are drastically underweight, I wouldn't be too concerned.

well,i am just like augustta. i want to put on some weight, too. but nothing happened. i still weigh like before. but yup. for as long as i am not sickly, and that i am healthy, there's nothing to worry about.

i would agree with muscare.. just enjoy your natural you.. the most important of all, is that you are healthy. By the way.. my friend gained weight by drinking a special milk for weight gain.

Gaining weight is as difficult as loosing weight.I would recommend that you use the protein drinks and if possible drink 3 glasses of the drink in addition to your regular diet. You can use the same drinks that people use to loose weight but in your case you eat 3 meals a day plus the drinks, they are fairly good tasting and will give you the extra good calories you need. . If you find you are gaining weight to quickly cut back on the beverage until you feel comfortable.

You have a very fast metabolism, I guess. You need to consult a nutritionist so that you would be given a diet plan that would suit your needs (it's not the same with everyone). I also believe you have to pull some weights to gain more "meat", so to speak. In that way, more proteins and carbohydrates would be needed. I would rather be in your shoes because I have a very slow metabolism, so I tend to gain weight easily. If I had not been eating healthy these days, I could have gone obese. Happy myLotting!

I don't know if you notice this, but it's harder for people with small bones to gain weight. Your weight is the total of your bone, flash and fat weight. If your bone is already big, you will generally weight more than those with small bones. But if your bone is bigger, you will definitely look better if you are not skinny. You really don't want to look like those anorexic models, my cloth hangers look sexier than them LOL
I am naturally skinny, everyone in my family are skinny or ideal, nobody is overweight. My mom only gained weight when she was 40 and I used to wear the same clothes she wore when she was my age. Doesn't matter I work hard or lazy, I am still skinny. I am only 5ft 99 lbs. I gained 10 lbs for 6 yrs living here.
It's not worth it, wasting time worrying about your weight. Being skinny doesn't affect my performance at work or in bed, the only hard time is in winter here for me. Of course there are things I can't do here, but that's because I'm too short LOL

I have heard that before too from my cousin. When I got married I was fine until I had a baby it changed my weight after she was born I tried to get my weight back no luck so maybe that's what your mother was talking about. Good luck in trying to gain weight .

Hi Augustta, Don't worry as you get older I think that the weight will come on a lot easier. My brother was always eating and never gained any weight when he was younger. Now he gains weight if he eats too much. You look great. Don't worry, eat what you want and have fun!

You can do more for your body by eating a variety of healthier foods instead of trying to pack on weight by forcing yourself to eat a lot of unhealthy high-fat, high-sugar foods. Chances are, trying to force-feed yourself won't help you gain weight anyway, and if you do, you'll mostly just be gaining excess body fat. Eating a variety of healthy foods, making time for regular meals and snacks, and eating only until you are full will give your body its best chance to stay healthy as it gets the fuel and nutrients it needs.
Good nutrition doesn't have to be complicated. Here are some simple tips:
Eat lots of vegetables, fruits, and whole grains.
Eat breakfast every day.
Eat regular, healthy snacks.
Eat a variety of foods. That can sometimes include less nutritious ones, like chips and soda. But try to limit them so you don't crowd out healthier food and drinks.

i just cant imagine why needs and want of people differs. ther are those whom spends a lot in liposuctions and all those just to look slim, yet you are in the opposite.
unless its a need for you to gain weight, just be contented of what you have.

well i also believe the stature of the person involved would determine if he/she would gain more weight. For some people no matter the amount of food and weight gain measures they take, they have been predetermined by their physical nature and stature that they cannot gain weight as they would love too.
If this is your picture then i can say you might not be able to gain as much weight as you anticipated but you could add a lil flesh when you involve in some vitality classes and weight gain measures

i do think we have different metabolisms, some people put weight on easily and find it hard to lose (like me, take a look at my picture, lol) others, like you find it difficult. If it is any consolation, i think you look absolutely fantastic and have nothing to worry about.
You can put weight on by building muscle, so a regieme of cardio vascula excersise might help,

LOL.It is the first time I hear from a woman she wants to gain weight,I do not think you are skinny, you are average, why do you want to gain weight??
It is very easy to gain weight, you can eat more food which is rich in fat content,fried chips and chicken may be a good choice,and you can eat three donuts a day, I can be sure your weight will be increased by five kilos next month.

i have this same problem-i've been told it's my metabolism.i never could eat much-i feel nauseous
if i do.
a friend of mine that was concerned about my weight
recommened eating hummus,he said it was fattening.
never tried it yet,but i hear it's good.

Eating a lot can never let you put on some weight.Yeah what your mom said is absolutely right, get married and you will for sure put up some weight, no doubt about that. I want to loose some weight and which has been a problem for me.
Eat some meat regularly, have good sleep, try to take some extra calories of food. Work less , become lazy and that will help you put up some weight. Lol i guess this sounds weird.
Girls generally prefer to stay think and slim and why are you opting to put up some weight. I would rather say just wait for few days then you will put up some weight with out any extra effort as soon as you are married.

You are very lucky to have this "problem". While others, like me, have been sentenced to a life of eternal battle with the bulge, you on the other hand are looking for ways to put on pounds! Millions of women I'm sure are very envious of your body.
But your mom could be right, you know. Marriage could be your savior in this case. I know a lot of women who were skinny when they were single and then ballooned and compared themselves to whales after several years of being married. You can ask my wife for a real life testimony about this. LOL. She's not really fat , she just put on some weight here and there, and she is complaining that she doesn't look as sexy as she was before. But who cares? I love her for whatever she is right now, as I'm sure you will be loved by your boyfriend, in spite of what ever you are or will become in the future.
