What is favourite spice: carrots, garlic?

Carrots and garlic make food tasty but they also have medicinal values. Garlic for example is known to cure ailments like mild cancer! Which is your favourite spice?

I don't regard carrots as a spice, it's a vegetable to me :) Apparently garlic may also protect against cancer, but with emphasis on may. I don't think it's been proven to actually cure cancer. Anyway, I like carrots, but I prefer garlic, especially smoked garlic. I love the taste and it can make any dish special.

garlic because it has more health benefits than the carrot. garlic is a natural antibiotic.
