After being out of the school curriculum for many years now, I recently took a
3-day class on mortgage brokering. I am now in the process of studying for my
licensing exam and I am wondering if any of you have study hints/tips/aids that
have worked for you. Please share!

Well first of all, good luck with your studies, - I wish you well. About study tips............ well its a good few years since I studied too, but rememberng back, my main tip would be not to try and "cram" too much information in, too quickly, especially when revising. It's far better to do an hour's work a night, and then stop and do something else, than try and work for 2 or 3 hours, because the chances are you will forget what you tried to learn in that last hour because it was too much to take in, in one go. Also, try and enjoy it - if you like your subject take the time to appreciate everything about it.

Many thanks, Rosie! There is SO MUCH information to remember that I am
overwhelmed. I try to take some time each day to study, but today I got
discouraged and came close to throwing the book across the room!!
I've been studying for 45 mins to an hour at a time, like you say. Any
more than that and I get crosseyed!! LOL

when i was still studying, i used to be rushing things, i always cram, and not that a goody-goody time that every lesson i am entitled to review everynight. actually i study when i have exam only, thank God i graduated. but i think the best study tips is, you study because you want to study, because there are alot of things you can remember and learn because your brain is ready to store it all. other tips is to eat sweets like chocolate, because it can boost your energy, it is a food of a brain. and me i go to my comfortable place, like tables and i sit, because if you study and you are in bed , the tendency is you will feel sleepy and you will just discontinue what you are doing. Please, study because you want to , not because i have to. Avoid craming , rushing is not good for the brain.
