What if your kids were gay/lesbian?

Was having a conversation with friends when one of them said that his mind would actually be at ease if his children were gay/lesbian during their younger years (e.g. before they reached 21) especially his girls cause this would rule out the possibility of them getting pregnant. Although almost everyone was taken aback by this statement, after reflecting about it for a while I realised that well it does kind of make some sense. Especially with teenage pregnancies being more frequent nowadays. But thought I get more feedback on the issue. Therefore, do let me know how you feel about my friend's statement.

yes its understandable and logical.
but i think being gay and getting pre-wed pregnancy is a two different (wrong) things.
there should not be any relation to excuse each other.
i mean what's wrong with the world today? we all live in excuses more and more. There are right and wrong. i think we have to go back to that standards.
so what im gonna do to my kids, despite the way to do it, is telling them 'its wrong, and dont go on with it'
