What's up with the comparing of players to older stars?Messi is messi.Maradona is maradona.Pele is Pele.Giggs is giggs and ronaldo is ronaldo.Ronaldinho is ronaldinhoThe list goes on and on.I think we should all appreciate players for who they are and what they bring to the team.Nobody likes to be looked back in history and that says oh...he was like tat player in 1950s.Giggs is my favourite all time player and i can rightly say i have not compared him to anyone because he is who is and what he has brought to the tema is through his skill and hardwork. There are players like him eg ronaldo but its never fair to compare him to giggs or anyone else for that matter.Praise them for who they are and not compare.

Well, comparison is part of human nature. Every person is a unique person, but people just love to compare other people from the same industry or profession.
Football is no exception.
All these players are great players and I admire all of them. In the end however, football is all about teamwork and if the team does not work together then one player alone cannot do much.
Take Carlos Tevez of West Ham for instance. He is such a good player and scores important goals for the team, but the defense is not good enough and thus they concede quite often.

Messi is Messi, Ronaldinho is Ronaldinho, Eto'o is Eto'o, Rijkaard is Rijkaard, but who am I?
