I have never gone to the movies by myself. i don't really like to do stuff like that alone. A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I were arguing and he took off out the door and 3 hours later returned home. he had gone and watched a movie at the theater, i was a little upset because when he gets mad he just takes off and i have no choice but to stay home.

I don't think I have the guts to go to a movie by myself. i cant go anywhere by myself. I feel to self-conscious when I do. one night I had to go to a performance my schools theater department was having (my sis was going to go with me but she had gotten sick earlier), and I was so upset. I was very relieved when I saw a group of my friends there!

I don't think that I will ever do that by myself. First of all it would be kind of boring because there would not be someone beside me to share some opinions spontanteously about the movie.
Although, I would be able to eat popcorn all by myself. It is always nice to share some of it with an accquantice on either side of my seat.
People would argue that the cinematic experience is much better than at home, but nowadays sound and television technology has expanded so fast that it is now possible to have crisp and crystal clear quality on a home system.
Going to a cinema alone is no better than watching a movie at home alone on a dvd player.

My experience is just the opposite with you. Usually I go for the movies with atleast one of my friends. I also go in groups. Once it happened that I could not find any of my friends at that time . All were busy then. I could not wait for them as there was a chance that the movie might be changed in the cinema hall of our locality. I was a teenager then. So I went alone to watch the movie. I feel really very alone through out the movie, and decided not to come alone in future to watch a movie. Though the movies was very interesting, but I could not enjoy it as I was not with my friends.

i have never went to a movie alone before. I've never ate at a restraunt alone either. I've never thought about it before either. I guess I just prefer company.

I prefer going with someone, but that's probably out of habit. I have gone alone, a handful of times, and did enjoy myself. I suppose it depends upon the movie. This may sound odd, but I prefer seeing horror movies alone as it adds to the level of fear.

I always went with a friend or relative who owned a car and wanted to see the same movie with me. I haven't bothered getting my driver's license yet since I never really felt the need to get one.
