For anyone here who may be feeling a little sorry for Sanjaya being eliminated, check your local listings for the Ellen Degeneres and David Letterman programs.Sanjaya will be appearing on both of these shows next week. Just goes to show, you don't need much talent or vocal ability to become well known.Getting to be in the top 7 of American Idol, cetrtainly proved that point for Sanjaya.

I knew we'd see Sanjaya popping up everywhere- He was pretty popular-- you either Loved him or hated him-- But I bet if you asked non-Idol viewers they would know the name Sanjaya- I even think he'll get signed somewhere by someone. And don't forget he still has the Idol tour- Top 10.. so that will get him more viewing. Sanjaya's 15 minutes of fame isn't over yet.

No one denies that Sanjaya is a nice person. But the contestants that were eliminated before him, had a lot more talent and vocal ability, had as much drive and put in as much effort into their performances as he did. but I don't believe they'll be invited to the White House,or doing celebrity interviews and appearing on various TV programs.Being a nice christian boy and having a nice smile, does not warrant all this attention. There are millions and millions of people with these same attributes, who you will never even hear about. But good luck to him, it just goes to show, American Idol, can make you a celebrity, and you don't need much talent to get there.

This is not a show about being a "good christian boy". This was a show about singing talent which, unfortunately he doesn't have, and too many people who actually had talent got kicked off because of him.

I have also heard he has been invited to the White House for dinner with the President. He also appeared on the Jay Leno show with Donnie Osmond. For someone who can not sing, he certainly has gotten a lot of attention from big name people and tv shows. The media and government seem to like this guy a lot and are giving him more attention than he deserves. He will not have a successful singing career however as I do not think many people will buy his music, if he puts out any cds.
