A technical question about IE7

I upgraded my IE7 awhile back but had some problems with my computer and lost it. So I have been trying to download it again and every time it finishes and prompts me to restart, which I do, it disappears. I have gone on Microsoft.com to find out what to do about it. Well I did what was suggested and it still won't download. I really don't use IE7 anymore anyway but my husband wants it to play his yahoo games on it. Firefox wll not load the Yahoo games, such as Euchre which is what he has been trying to play.
We are waiting on our upgrade C.D for MSN explorer because it is not working and I have also tried to upgrade it from the website and it won't take. I do not know what the problem is because I am not the technical type. My husband has called our ISP which is MSN and they tried but nothing works. Anyone have any suggestions as to why IE7 will not download? Any help will be much appreciated. :)

No errors at all. It goes through the whole process of downloading and then installing. Then it asks me to restart so I do. When my computer starts back up still no internet explorer.
A few days ago my husband called our ISP, MSN because our MSN explorer isn't working either. They said it was because they upgraded and we should have gotten a C.D but we didn't. Well they told him to go to start and programs and bring up IE. He asked me where it was and I couldn't find it either. I looked everywhere on the computer and nothing. Like it just vanished. MSN is sending us a new C.D so my husband can use it to play yahoo games. Firefox won't even load the games for some reason. I have tried everything everyone has told me. I don't know what to do. I even went on Microsoft.com and did what the help section said and it still didn't work. I did forget that we also have the Netscape 6.2 browser so I'm going to try to bring up Yahoo games on it until we get this straightened out. Thanks for the response and if you have any more suggestions on what I should do then please let me know. :)

If I do that will I still be able to use Firefox? I am the only one in my house that uses Firefox. If it wasn't for my husband not being able to play Yahoo games on Firefox then I wouldn't worry so much about IE because I quit using it since I started using Firefox. I know this might be a stupid question but I don't want to lose Firefox. I have all of my favorites stored on it. :)

Try going to the add remove programs from the control panel. once there check and see if IE 7 is installed. If it is try uninstalling it. After it is uninstalled you might need to reboot. then to back and re-try the install. It might work then. that is the first step that I would do.

Tried it and it didn't work either. I just don't understand what happened. I know I don't have a virus because I do virus scans and spy sweeper all the time. Thanks for trying to help anyway. I really appreciate it. :)
