If you are smart, you will go to thestore and get a set of circular needles, the one with the plasitc line that attaches both ends in a fairly large size so you can have enough space on the needles.Get youself some yarn, and put on 100 stitches for a baby blanket ,150 for a lap throw, and 200 for double bed size Then just start knitting back and forth. or do it in rows of abourt 25 stitches and when you are finished 5 or 6 rows, just sew them together
