A few months back, i dream about taking a lift and it just do down very quickly to hell. And just a few weeks back, i dream of the same dream. I was very frightened when i dream of it the first time, but during the second time,i was not afraid at all. Does this dream mean something?I have stopped taking lifts after this dream ... Dreams are a manifestation of your imagination and how your subconscious deals with stresses. It is not uncommon to dream the same dream many of times. If you are fearful of the lift dropping, then you subconscious is trying to get you used to falling so that you are not so fearful the next time you are on a lift. Repetition helps to lessen fears. So, do not be so scared of the lift and to go on it again...you mind is trying to help you not be scared of falling. :)

I agree with you, and I think it's a very good explanation in the positive way of thinking. I believe that's the good way to face life and the less understandable things that we live.

I vaguely remember a dream that I dreamt twice.I was with a few friends from my school and we were talking about things from the past.It wasn't something serious ,but we were just having a good time. Many times I have got solutions to problems I faced in my life when I was dreaming.I feel every dream has a reason, but perhaps it's not easy to interpret them.If we could interpret them,we would probably have become psychics.

Yes, it will mean something and the fact that it repeats itself means that the situation is not resolved, or goal not yet reached. Sometimes, scary dreams should not be taken literally. There are often underlying meanings to them. Brightest Blessings.

I had a dream last night that I was hanging out with a friend inside thier house and all of sudden i fell asleep and woke to darkness and started to walk upstairs to thier room but I was like very dizzy and like stumbling when i got to the room the doorway was blocked except for this paasage at the bottom of the doorway so i started crawling through but woke up. I woke up thirsty so I go to my refrigerator for something to dring but I was like dizzy and somewhat stumbling like in my dream so I crawled back in bed trying to go back to sleep and fell asleep and like 6 hours later I started having the same dream and woke up before even sooner, is this normal or something wrong cause its creepy to me?

I don't think it means to much. You might, on some level, be afraid of lifts. Or you might be afraid of going to hell. I have had the same dreams several times and nothing has come of them. Sometimes, your dreams might be trying to tell you something. If you ask a question, you might get an answer in your dreams. If you have some strong desire or hope, you might find your dreams providing clues to help you realize them. Be bold and start using the lifts again. Ask yourself for an answer as to why you might be afaid of them. Not knowing your personal life, it is difficult to say if these dreams have any real meaning.

Hello,Augustta, people dream actually reflects what they think everyday and it is something subconscious. Of courser there may be some meaning behind eveery dreams, may ba a deram interpreter can tell you the reasons. I think the reason why you have the same dream twice is becasue you have the same worry everyday,or is it because you are afraid of taking the lifts, and it just reflects in your dreams? Good luck

Some people think of dreams as your subconcious telling you what to do. There are people who work as a dream specialist. These people are usually psychologist or have training in psychology (CMIIW). You should consider talking to these dream readers. Dreaming the same dream twice, and having a dreaming so vividly scary, and strange like yours seems like your subconcious is telling you something.

well dreams are just fruit of our imagination.. sometimes it's about the things that had happened recently or the things that we always think about

A psychologist would have you believe that if you dream of something more than once then the event is very important to you and you have still issues to conclude. If you have left things unsaid or work incomplete your mind will take you back there blessed be

EW scary dream. I hate nightmares. I dont think it means anything just it repeats itself. Keep a dream journal though. It can be fun and interesting. Also sometimes checking dream dictionaries might help. I own at least one. I mean they might not be right but they also can maybe help a little for you. Good luck!

when I was growing up I often have heard that if you dream the same dream for three times it will come true but iI really don't know but yes dreams do tell you something. Try to write it down after you have the dream and maybe you can figure it out.

i think that you are nervous of taking a lift, but you are not even aware of that.your dreams just told you what in your subconciousness.

No i havnt had any such experience whiere in i dream the same thing. I always fream different things. Neurologists say that we dream of things which are going at the back of our minds which we think more oftently. So its natural for a student whose exams are some days away to dream about failing in mathematics paper and things related to examination. If u are getting same kind of dream then i dont think there is a problem , you must be thinking a lot about that matter. thats why you may be getting those dreams..! Nothing to worry about...

I think it means something subconsciently, try to ask your self when you meditate, and you are calm within. Our spirit is much wiser than we realize but the flesh narrow down many talents, you know the answer for your questions already.

i think it was the set of routines of your brain that you try to store in your memory and that would play by your mind in sleep. But if it is not included in to your daily life than i suppose it must have some means please consult to some good astroloser.

I would say that to dream the same dream twice is an indication that something needs resolving. Each part of a dream represents a part of our personalities that have become fragmented from the whole (of us). It could be a decision that you need to make. Hell, I would say is symbol of some sort of struggle, not necessarily a bad place to be. It could also mean that you have some sort of subconscious guilt that you feel you ought to punish yourself for. We are our own judges but we judge mostly illusions of what we have been led to believe we have done wrong. Everybody's dreams give messages that are personal to the dreamer, and really only the dreamer can interpret them. As a therapist, I have helped clients to interpret their dreams. It wasn't me that did this, but themselves though. I just introduced the techniques.
