ABORTION: your opinions about this..

I am pro choice, while I could never have had one I think it should be available for those who need it. For all of those people who have a fit about it... What about rape, incest, harm to mother and/or fetus to continue the pregnancy...??? It should be a womans and ONLY a womans choice what she does or doesn't do to her body.

they should be a personal choice, i would not want to have one nor would i want to give them. but i do not think i have the right to tell you what to do with your body, or life, or life within. you will live with the choice.

I believe that abortion is murder plain and simple. A baby's life is started at the time of conception and it is morally wrong to go in and kill that baby. If the girl does not want to take care of the baby or is unable to take care of the baby, there is always adoption. Adoption is an act of love by the birthmother for her unborn child. It is her chance to offer her baby a better life. Every baby deserves the right to live, to be loved and to love in return. Who are we to decide who has the right to live and who doesn't. Adoption=love, Abortion=murder.

I am totally disagree. bcoz it is really bad thing. and in simple words it is murder.

Oh this subject is so close to my heart. I was 16 when I got pregnant, I planned it all & so did the father, when my family found out they presured me so much into having an abortion & I was so naieve that I felt I had no choice. They told me they would kick me out if I kept it. I got pregnant again when I was 17 to the same guy & hid the fact I was pregnant till the day I turned 18. Then I told them I was keeping him. They tried to pressure me into adoption but I stood my ground. They then told me that I should have had the 1st one....what backstabbing was that? I now am 31, I have a 13yo ( the result of my standing firm ) & I can not have anymore children. I cry each day for the baby I never had.

i disagree. life is precious, and abortion is like taking away one's life before it even start. that ain't fair. people should be responsible for their actions.

well i think abortion is simply a bad thing to do. It's also called murder in that you have killed a being that was supposed to be brought into life.Plain simple murder. I think it should be abolished and stricter penalties should be handed down to people who have been found to be involved this shameful act

It should be up to the woman, if abortion was banned, woman and young girls would have to go to the backstreet abortionist!

totally disagree with it.. Certainly the issue of abortion is not something to be taken lightly because it is the termination of what could, potentially, become a human being.... There are very many ways of looking at abortion, which make it hard to decide whether or not you are for it.... Although there are many good reasons as to why someone would choose to be against it I, for one, believe abortion could, in some cases, be the right thing to do.... Abortion could save women from an experience that could either damage or kill them. This is not the same for every single case but there are exceptions. First off there is the discussion of women’s privacy and how the decision to abort a baby is mainly their decision. That and the decision of her partner, no one else’s. There are many reasons a woman would not see it fit to continue with a pregnancy. According to the National Abortion Federation “Each year, one million American teenagers become pregnant, and 85% of these pregnancies are unintended.” Most pregnancies that are aborted happen to be accidental. Although, yes, some of these accidents can be prevented some can’t. If you force a woman or a teen to continue full term with her pregnancy it would be intruding into the privacy of her body... so.. we must find a way to curb this issue of abortion =)
